Verdi By Janell Cannon is a story about a snake who does not want to turn green and mean like the other snakes he know. He is determined to stay young, yellow and carefree for as long as he can. This is a really cute story and would be great when you are doing a science lesson on snakes with you students. Even though Verdi is a snake he is a very cuddly character.
