Non-Fiction MW 11 - 12:30
When I think about non-fiction literature the first thing that used to come to my mind what boring, picture less, textbooks or encyclopedias. After today's lecture I have done a 180 in my way of thinking. After seeing all of the different types of non-fictions books that are available for use in the daily classroom setting. I think that most students have a negative view when it comes to textbooks so anytime that I have the opportunity to use other books I will definitely be using these books in my classroom.

You make a good point about replacing a textbook with another form of literature whenever possible. Incorporating different and new books into lessons is a good way to keep students interested and engaged. I know for me even though I am in college I am much more interested when my instructor brings in a picture book than when we simply read from the textbook.
